Can I request modifications to the 3D scan?
We allow for modifications during the 3D scanning process. We understand things do not always come out perfect on the first scan so we will perform additional modifications if needed. Once the scan is approved, any changes will require additional cost based on the time required to perform the modification.
Can I have the raw scan file?
Yes, we can share the scan files with you! If you need CAD or SolidWorks files derived from the scan, just let us know. We’ll make sure you have everything you need to use or edit the scan. Your project files will be ready when we deliver your order.
What is the turn around time for a 3D Scan?
Our standard turnaround time is 5-7 business days. If you need your scan sooner, we offer expedited services to speed up the process. Just let us know, and we’ll work to meet your deadline!
How do I give you my item?
Yes, you can ship us a reference item! All shipments should be sent to: 8414 Farm Rd, Ste 180 PMD 1035, Addison, Illinois 89131, United States. We’ll provide you with a UPS shipping label to make it easy for you. We understand you may want your item back so we will ship it back within 2 weeks. If you need it sooner can work out a quicker timeline.

We understand some items can't be scanned. We are able to make a 3D model based on pictures. We request all pictures have a ruler in frame so we can measure the item in the image properly. We will need 4-20 images depending on the complexity of the item.
Can you reverse-engineer an existing product or prototype?
Yes, we offer reverse engineering to create accurate 3D models from your existing designs or physical parts for modifications or production.
Do you sign NDAS?
Yes! If you need us to sign an NDA, simply include it with your request, and we’ll be happy to sign it. We understand how important it is to protect your ideas and the hard work you’ve put into your projects. What file format can I get?
We deliver 3D model files in formats like OBJ, STL, STEP, 3MF, 3DXML, and CAD-ready files (SAT, AMF, TIF, PRT, PRTDOT) tailored to your production needs.
How much does 3D printing my model cost?
The cost for 3D printing will depend on the size and complexity of your model. This will be calculated during the discussion and creation of your 3D model. If you already have a model, you can use our instant quote tool instead.
